Than others aparently could not figure out this pressure cooker is a cleverly designed lid safety lock that prevents you from opening the door if still pressure in the pot. This is so that you can burn your skin from the face of high vapor. If you want to open it right after cooking, you will need to run cold water to cool about it, reduce the pressure.

What is the possibility of cooking, it is surprisingly quick. Things that usually lasts several hours, Cook (for example, dry beans) take only 1 / 4 the normal time or less. My only complaint is that they are not big enough, big meals, you can not fill – it’s more than 2 / 3 full.

I bought this place 3 years old Mirro 4QT stove that I allways had problems with the seal of the seat is correct. She has had no problems with this. Works as it should. I used it to cook dried beans, ribs, chicken, beef, and freesh vegtables. Great taste in food, and fast.

I’ve heard and used 3 Presto pressure cookers in the past 35 years, they are the best! I had another brand for a while, this was not so in my Presto not, so I gave it away! I never had any problems with my pressure cooker is very easy to use Presto will certainly use the right amount of fluid, what to do after is a professional and can get your own recipe, it’s fast and makes the toughest piece of meat super tender ! I usually cook for my 7-bone roast for 45 minutes, and the meat just falls apart! Great for cooking artichokes and add 1 1 / 2 cups of water, artichokes, place the lid on the cooker and the pressure rises, reduce heat to a slow rocking you (a pressure regulator can be put on the lid) and simmer for 15 -17 minutes, depending on the size of the artichoke, they are perfect! Make your own experience and enjoy the fireplace, you need a hook like me!

Our 20 + years old 4 liters Presto pressure cooker gasket change has been at least half a dozen. We are pretty old, so I thought it was time to get 79 years old boss, and the beautiful wife of 55 years instead of the bright pot, only one seal.
worked well all these years old and the new, it already has a dozen cooking cycles – and seems to be doing well as it should be replaced.
BTW: We replaced the 6 quart Presto at the same time, attention, and it is the same.

I bought this to replace Presto 4 quart pressure cooker, which was 45 years old, and it will no longer hold the pressure while the new seal. It was a great unit, and we hated to have to replace them. These new features as well as the old did when it was new. You can pay a lot more pressure cooker, but I do not understand how it would work better.
